Status Network Token (SNT) adalah token utilitas ERC-20 yang mendukung platform Status, sebuah aplikasi open-source untuk messaging terenkripsi peer-to-peer, wallet crypto, browser Web3, dan interaksi dengan dApps Ethereum. Diciptakan oleh co-founder Carl Bennetts (CTO) dan Jarrad Hope (CEO), dua pengusaha berlatar belakang blockchain yang sebelumnya mendirikan Campus Capital untuk solusi edukasi berbasis blockchain.
Diciptakan untuk mengatasi masalah privasi data di internet, sensor, dan kontrol terpusat pada platform komunikasi.
